spring haiku
the season of life. for me, bringer of chaos, what does it all mean? sometimes, spring is the worst. it hurts-- the flare-ups already, I'm spent. the spotlight on me, blinding. no rest 'til I'm dead. yellow beetles, I'm in endless war with nature blossoms held hostage already, the soil is drying out by mid-day. my kale is finished pink flowers... no sakura here. plums, maybe? butterflies, maybe; birds' nests, unlikely. Alas. barren to natives. we pulled the roots bare, smothering polite landscape, and choking on dust. my good boots and my sweaty brow-- proud armor for unlit senses: this peach rose, these beetroot clumps, and Blue for your sky.
new month, same me
i have a new thing,
for this here "poetry month":
last digit quotas.
i don't expect "perfection";
but, maybe, new paths open.

Way back when,,,
There once was the "family computer/Your-father-needs-it-for-work". A mystical device that only my dad had access to, and was (apparently) very important.
Even then, the computer was a symbol of information (of yearning). Therefore, "being on" it was always in the back of my mind. There was a wider world that I didn't understand how to grasp. I wanted to know what was being kept from me....
